Raptors Outshine Warriors in First Game of NBA Finals

Raptors Outshine Warriors in First Game of NBA Finals In the initial championship showdown, Toronto defeated Golden State, 118-109. The Raptors were spearheaded by forward Pascal Siakam, registering 32 points.

“We performed admirably on our home court. The crowd was incredible, really inspiring,” remarked Pascal Siakam, in a postgame interview.

Stephen Curry accumulated 34 points for the Warriors, marking their fifth consecutive appearance in the finals.

Kawhi Leonard, the small forward for the Toronto Raptors, remarked in a postgame interview, “We recognize their humanity. It’s about embracing the challenge and competing with full force.”

Draymond Green, the power forward for the Warriors, commented, “This team, this city, this country had never experienced a finals before, so we anticipated an incredible atmosphere and that’s exactly what we encountered.”

The second game will be held in Toronto on Sunday at 8pm ET, following which the series will move to Golden State.
