As reported by The Athletic, the Washington Wizards have formally appointed Trajan Langdon for a key basketball management role. Langdon, who currently serves as the general overseer of the Pelicans and has a background as a former NBA player, brings extensive experience from holding managerial positions with the Spurs, Cavaliers, and Nets.
Langdon’s current supervisor, David Griffin, previously worked closely with him during their tenure at the Cavaliers’ front office. Initial reports suggested that the Wizards have been in talks with Langdon and Milt Newton from the Bucks, as part of the search for a new head of basketball operations.
