Anthony Davis, the distinguished forward of the Los Angeles Lakers, encountered a head injury during the fifth game. This occurred when Kevon Looney delivered an elbow blow while contending for D’Angelo Russell’s pass.

Post the incident, onlookers and analysts became worried when Davis was spotted being helped out of the Chase Center.
However, according to NBA Insider Chris Haynes, Davis seems to have evaded a head injury and is now in significantly better shape; he no longer relies on a wheelchair for mobility.

Coach Darvin Ham delivered a reassuring update on Davis, highlighting his improved state post the unfortunate event during the Lakers’ 121-106 loss. Nonetheless, it is uncertain if Davis will be ready for Game 6, awaiting further updates regarding his condition.
In the interim, Austin Reaves, the sharpshooter of the Lakers, showcases positivity about Davis’ potential comeback, voicing his confidence in the star player’s return for Game 6.
