JaVale McGee, a pivotal player for the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, has been released.
McGee, towering at 7 feet in height and weighing 270 pounds, was acquired by the Mavericks as an unsigned player on July 9, 2022. Throughout the preceding season, he participated in 42 matches for the Mavericks, commencing in 7 of them, and managed an average of 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
It has been disclosed that there were $11.7 million in outstanding payments in McGee’s contract with the Mavericks, which had been a three-year agreement inked just over a year ago.
