When Jose Alvarado stepped into the game during the first quarter, the New Orleans Pelicans were 11 points behind. By the time Alvarado exited, the Pelicans had not only erased that deficit but also gained a six-point lead.

Alvarado’s impactful performance, including two steals and two blocks, during his initial time on the court turned the tide of Monday’s match.

Despite a shaky start, the Pelicans emerged triumphant over the Kings with a final score of 127-117 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. This win in the first round of the In-Season Tourney guaranteed their entry to Las Vegas. The Pelicans are now scheduled to face the winner of the Tuesday clash between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers in the In-Season Tourney semifinals on Thursday…

After the break, Ingram tallied 17 of his 30 points and also made notable contributions with eight rebounds and six assists.
