The Memphis Grizzlies have enlisted the abilities of floor general Jaylen Nowell for an additional 10-day period.
Nowell (6-4, 201) has taken part in five games (including one starting role) following his initial engagement with the Grizzlies on Nov. 24, demonstrating an average of 6.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 18.8 minutes. The 24-year-old achieved a personal record of 19 points as a substitute during an away triumph against the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 1.
Originally hailing from Seattle and a graduate of the University of Washington, Nowell has been featured in 189 regular season contests (including four starting positions) over five NBA seasons with the Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves since being selected as the 43rd choice in the 2019 NBA Draft. He has competed in 29 NBA G League outings for the Iowa Wolves (2019-20) and Stockton Kings (2023-24).
