Jerami Grant, a member of the Portland Trail Blazers team, has entered into the concussion protocol established by the NBA.
After leaving the game during the final quarter of the matchup with Utah on Saturday night, Grant did not return to the court.
Following the NBA’s Concussion Policy, Grant will now commence the NBA-mandated Return-to-Participation Protocol. This process includes a series of steps designed to ensure that the athlete displays symptom-free behavior before resuming basketball-related activities. The duration of the protocol is not pre-determined, as each injury and player is unique, and the recovery period can vary for each individual case.
