The vast majority of the NBA community is well aware of the romantic relationship between Michael Jordan’s son and Larsa Pippen, the former wife of Scottie Pippen. Nevertheless, the couple now plans to unite in marriage.

There was quite a buzz online when Marcus Jordan expressed his wish for his father to stand as the groom’s supporter at his upcoming marriage to Larsa, a plan that is presently “in the works.”

“I had the privilege of being my father’s groomsman at his wedding, and I also fulfilled the same role at my sibling’s wedding,” Marcus shared in an episode of Pablo Torre Finds Out. “Inevitably, I envision maintaining this tradition.”

Marcus also shed some light on his father’s perspective on their relationship.

“My father’s main message was, ‘You are an independent adult,'” Marcus disclosed. “Ultimately, as long as I am happy, he is happy. He has never meddled in my romantic affairs prior to Larsa, and he has no intentions of doing so now.”

The circumstances surrounding the bond between Larsa and Marcus are quite unique, particularly given that MJ and Scottie Pippen were once colleagues on the Bulls team.

Presently, there is tension between MJ and Scottie, which undoubtedly adds to the intricacy of their upcoming familial connection.

Additionally, there is a significant 16-year age disparity between Marcus and Larsa, and they are fully aware of the fascination their relationship draws from onlookers.

“Aesthetically, it may not be seen as ideal,” Pippen mentioned on Pablo Torre Finds Out. “Just the mere mention of it does not resonate well with people.”

While on the same show, Larsa chose not to discuss whether she has “encountered Michael” since she began her relationship with Marcus.

“I believe it’s better to not dwell on Marcus, Michael, or our past,” she expressed. “I prefer to focus on our current situation. I sense that our families simply want our joy… To be honest, our relationship has minimal impact on anyone else.”
