The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired forward Ish Wainright after he was waived by his previous team.
During the 2022-23 season, Wainright played in 60 games (starting in two of them) and averaged 4.2 points (shooting 37.0% from the field, 32.9% from three-point range, and 83.9% from the free-throw line), along with 2.3 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 15.3 minutes per game for the Phoenix Suns. In his two seasons with the Suns from 2021-23, Wainright played in 105 games (starting in two of them) and has career averages of 3.4 points (shooting 37.8% from the field, 32.8% from three-point range, and 76.7% from the free-throw line), along with 1.8 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and 0.6 steals in 12.1 minutes per game.
