Dillon Brooks, a forward with the Houston Rockets, has received a one-game suspension without pay following his 16th technical foul of the 2024-25 season, as disclosed today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations.
Per NBA rules, a player or coach is subjected to an automatic one-game suspension without pay upon reaching 16 technical fouls within a regular season. Furthermore, for every additional two technical fouls incurred, an extra automatic one-game suspension without pay is imposed.
Brooks’ most recent technical foul was issued with 7:12 left in the first quarter during the Rockets’ 143-105 victory over the Utah Jazz on April 2 at the Toyota Center. He will serve his suspension during the upcoming home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Toyota Center tomorrow.
