Grizzlies Sign Lamar Stevens to Second 10-Day Deal

The Memphis Grizzlies have opted to extend forward Lamar Stevens’ tenure by signing him to a second 10-day contract.

Measuring 6-foot-6 and weighing 230 pounds, Stevens initially joined the Grizzlies on February 21 through a Call-Up from the G League’s Motor City Cruise. In his season debut on March 1 against the San Antonio Spurs, he tallied six points and four rebounds in 16 minutes of action. During his time with the Cruise this season, he made a notable impact in all 29 games, averaging 17.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks across 34.1 minutes per game.

After going undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft following his collegiate career at Penn State, the 27-year-old has participated in 204 games (including 41 starts) and has recorded averages of 5.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15.7 minutes over five seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and Grizzlies.
