Utah Jazz Signs Elijah Harkless to Two-Way Deal

On January 1, the Utah Jazz declared the addition of guard Elijah Harkless through a two-way contract.

The 6’3″, 195-pound player has appeared in 18 games this season with the San Diego Clippers, the G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Clippers, where he started in eight of those matchups. Harkless has demonstrated notable performance, averaging 16.4 points with a shooting percentage of 43.8 from the field, while also contributing 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.4 steals during 27.1 minutes per game.

Hailing from San Bernardino, California, Harkless completed a five-year collegiate journey across Cal State Northridge (2018-2020), Oklahoma (2020-2022), and UNLV (2022-2023). Throughout his NCAA career, he participated in 131 games, starting in 97, and posted averages of 11.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 steals in 27.5 minutes per game. As a fifth-year senior at UNLV during the 2022-2023 season, he played in all 32 games (all of which were starts), achieving an average of 19.1 points per game, along with 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.6 steals across 30.9 minutes, which earned him a spot on the All-MWC Second Team.
