Jared McCain, a newcomer with the Philadelphia 76ers, has reported discomfort in his left knee after a recent game against the Pacers.
Results from today’s MRI revealed a tear in the lateral meniscus of his left knee. This will require surgical treatment, and he is anticipated to be out for an extended period.
As reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer, “this news comes after an incident in which McCain, who was the No. 16 selection in the first round of the NBA draft out of Duke, appeared to suffer a head injury in the third quarter when he fell to the ground following a foul. He hit the back of his head during that moment.”
