The Oklahoma City Thunder has announced the signing of forward/center Malevy Leons, as stated by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.
In tandem with this move, the Thunder has released forward/center Alex Reese, who had been signed on October 19 and made only one appearance.
Leons, who stands 6-9 and weighs 205 pounds, participated in four preseason games with the Thunder, starting in one and averaging 5.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.50 steals per game across 13.5 minutes. In the 2023-24 collegiate season, he played in all 35 games for the Bradley Braves, averaging 13.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.46 blocks, 1.54 steals, and 1.3 assists while shooting 49% from the field.
