The Miami Heat have confirmed the addition of guard Caleb Daniels to their roster.
Last season, Daniels showcased his skills with the HEAT’s G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, participating in 31 regular season matchups, with 22 of those as a starter. He posted averages of 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists per game, while spending an average of 31.5 minutes on the court. His shooting stats include 43.4 percent from the field, 34.5 percent from three-point range, and 85 percent from the free-throw line. Throughout the season, he scored in double figures in 21 games, and notably, he had six performances where he exceeded 20 points. Impressively, Daniels achieved four consecutive games with at least 20 points between February 13 and February 25. Furthermore, he notched two double-doubles and drained multiple three-pointers in 14 games, recording a season-high of six against the OKC Blue on February 13. Among his peers, he finished second in rebounds and third in points, assists, blocks, and three-pointers made.
Most recently, Daniels competed in seven Summer League games with the HEAT, which included two contests during the California Classic in San Francisco and five games that helped Miami secure the championship title in the NBA2K25 in Las Vegas. He averaged 6.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.29 steals per game, with a shooting percentage of 40.6 from the field and 85.7 from the free-throw line. Throughout the Summer League, he recorded only three turnovers, achieving an impressive 4.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, and finished the seven-game stretch with a +47 plus/minus rating.
