Lakers Sign Vincent Valerio-Bodon to New Contract

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially signed guard-forward Vincent Valerio-Bodon to their team.

Valerio-Bodon stands 6 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. Last season, he participated in 25 games for the South Bay Lakers, starting in five of them. He averaged 6.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks in 18.3 minutes per game. The 23-year-old had notable performances during seven regular-season games, including a standout showing of 19 points on March 27 in a game against Santa Cruz. On the international stage, he competed in 83 games over four seasons (2019-2023) in the Hungarian A League, where he averaged 5.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 19.8 minutes of play.

Recently, Valerio-Bodon participated in the Lakers’ summer league for 2024, appearing in four games with one start. He averaged 4.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 13.5 minutes per game.
