The Raptors have reached an agreement with free agent forward Dylan Disu for an Exhibit 10 contract, as reported by Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca (via Twitter).
At just 23 years old, Disu began his college career at Vanderbilt in 2019 before transferring to Texas in 2021. After having knee surgery, he faced challenges during his initial season with the Longhorns. However, he rebounded in the 2023/24 season, averaging 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.1 blocks over 25 games (20 starts) as a super-senior. He concluded the season with impressive shooting stats, hitting .465 from the field, .451 from three-point range, and .812 from the charity stripe.
After going undrafted in June, Disu joined the Raptors’ Summer League squad in July, taking part in three games in Las Vegas.
It seems the Raptors plan to assign Disu to their G League affiliate, the Raptors 905. His Exhibit 10 contract offers a bonus of up to $77.5K if he spends at least 60 days with the Toronto G League team. Although Exhibit 10 contracts can be transformed into two-way contracts prior to the start of the season, the team currently does not have any two-way roster spots available.
With Disu’s signing, the Raptors now have a full roster of 21 players, although this does not eliminate the potential for further roster changes before training camp opens next Tuesday.
