Viewers were left bewildered on Monday when a 4.4 magnitude earthquake shook ESPN’s Los Angeles studio amid a live telecast of NBA Today.

Host Malika Andrews, who was discussing with basketball expert Rebecca Lobo when the seismic event took place, exhibited remarkable poise throughout the ordeal.

This was despite the fact that the tremor was powerful enough to rock the building and disrupt the camera’s position.

“We’re currently experiencing a light earthquake here in Los Angeles,” she remarked calmly as the tremors began. “We will ensure that our studio lights… everything stays secure. Everything’s wobbling.”

After conferring with her production team, Andrews informed the audience: “We sincerely thank you for your understanding during that; our studio was trembling a bit.”

Following the broadcast, Andrews tweeted: “What a terrifying moment here in our LA studios. Immense gratitude to our fantastic staff and crew who kept their cool under pressure! Stay safe, dear Angelenos.”

Andrews’ outstanding handling of the situation also earned her many supporters on social platforms:
