The Toronto Raptors have obtained the talents of guard Jared Rhoden.
Measuring 6-foot-6 and weighing 210 pounds, Rhoden averaged 4.9 points, 1.9 rebounds, and played 14.4 minutes across 17 games with Detroit last season. He achieved an impressive shooting rate of 50 percent (33-66) from the field and .387 (12-31) from beyond the arc. Rhoden successfully reached double figures in scoring on two occasions, with a personal-high of 16 points (6-12 FG, 4-8 3PT) on April 14 against San Antonio.
Hailing from Baldwin, New York, Rhoden has career averages of 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 14.3 minutes during 31 career games with the Pistons after he entered into a two-way contract in December 2022. Throughout this timeframe, he also played in 53 regular-season games with Motor City in the NBA G League, where his averages consisted of 19.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 35.8 minutes on the court.
Prior to entering the NBA, Rhoden spent four years in college (2018-22) at Seton Hall, where he compiled averages of 10.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 26.0 minutes over 122 games with the Pirates. In his final year, he participated in 31 games, averaging 15.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 33.1 minutes, securing a position on the All-Big East First Team.
