Protective measures Trent Forrest finalized a two-year contract with Baskonia, according to reports from Sportando. The declaration of the agreement was communicated by Baskonia via their Twitter platform.
In the previous season, Forrest was on the roster of the Hawks. After the end of the former season on a bi-lateral understanding, he secured a similar deal in September.
At 26 years old, Forrest had his agreement switched to a traditional deal for the remainder of the campaign in late February. Following the conclusion of the season, he became an unrestrained free agent. Forrest engaged in a pair of matches during the Las Vegas Summer League with the Lakers.
Throughout the past season, he appeared in a total of 38 contests for Atlanta, entering the court as a substitute on every occasion. In an average of 10.9 minutes per game, he compiled 2.2 points and 2.4 assists. In the prior season, he participated in 23 games for the Hawks, beginning three times.
Forrest played for Utah in his initial two campaigns in the NBA after going undrafted from Florida State in 2020. Over his career, he has competed in 151 NBA matches, initiating nine games. His statistical norms include 2.8 points and 1.9 assists within 11.6 minutes each match. While his field goal efficiency stands at 44.4%, his accuracy rate in three-point tries is merely 18.5%.
