NBA Champion Draymond Green to Join Turner Sports During Stint with Golden State

The skilled forward Draymond Green is set to ink an exclusive, long-term agreement with Turner Sports, according to an official statement. While continuing to compete for the Golden State Warriors, Green will now also take on a new role at Turner Sports.

In a recent press release, Green expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “I’ve had a fantastic experience collaborating with Turner Sports in recent years, and I appreciate their ability to engage and connect with fans across various platforms.” He added, “Today’s announcement solidifies our partnership, and I am honored to formally join the esteemed TNT family.”

Throughout the season, Green will provide analysis on “Inside the NBA,” both in studio and remotely, depending on his schedule. He will additionally contribute to various content projects for Turner Sports and its affiliate, Bleacher Report, under the Warner Media umbrella.

Tara August, the senior VP of Talent Services and Special Projects at Turner Sports, remarked, “Draymond possesses exceptional versatility, both on the court and in front of the camera.” She continued, “He brings a unique perspective, marked by his profound understanding of basketball, engaging presentation style, and candid, insightful viewpoints that transcend sports. We are excited to formally welcome him to the Turner Sports family.”

Green is scheduled to make his debut appearance on Thursday evening following the conclusion of the Warriors’ match against the Timberwolves.

According to reports by Richard Deitsch of The Athletic, this distinctive partnership appears to be a strategic move for Turner Sports. Negotiations for Green’s involvement had been ongoing for several months, gaining momentum in December.
