Donald Trump Will Attend Game Five Of The World Series

The President will be arriving slightly late, and so won’t be throwing out the first pitch.

The Washington Nationals are hosting the Houston Astros for game five of this World Series. It’s good news for President Donald Trump, because it means he won’t need to spend much on petrol to get to the game.

The teams are currently caught in a heated deadlock, sitting on two games each. The result of the upcoming game will decide which one breaks ahead.

However, Trump won’t be throwing out the first pitch. Instead, he plans on arriving a little after the game has started.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred explained the reason for this decision was in order that his arrival would not disrupt fans getting into the stadium. “We thought it was a great decision on the President’s part,” Manfred said.

The President was reportedly a skilled baseball player himself in his high school days. In 2014, he told the Economic Club of Washington DC: “You know I was recruited, and they all wanted me to go in Major League.”

Trump joking suggested that it would be difficult for him to throw the first pitch anyway, due to the bulletproof vest he’d be wearing under his jacket.
