The invincible defence of Texas Tech compelled the Red Raiders to start from a leader board score of 15-1 and not allowing the opposing team to make even one point in each possession. The team ended up establishing itself as the invincible in the defence part in the whole country. There was some question that the spectators had in their mind about the offence, “whether Tech had the power to win the game with a struggling defence part” and such things.
We have had witnessed the match on the Wednesday night when Iowa State ended up upsetting Texas by 68-64. The cyclone put all their effort in the match and led the leader board by scoring 41 points by the end of the intermissions. That was not at all any sort of unusual game, given that Red Raider team required the after-intermission half of the match for the comeback several times in the recent weeks.
This time, the Red Raiders put a lot of effort so that they can successfully opt to some game-changing offence against the defence of the opponent. Tech made a good try to tie the game in the last two minutes, but within that time Iowa State manages to have a grab on the lead and retake the elevated score on the leader’s board.
Tre Jones is out, and the world now requires another no. 1. For almost all the season Duke has been at the top of the ranking. After the loss of the Blue Devils which was the second time in the home to the Syracuse team, the debate again rose to people concern once again. This time it is quite clear that with the injury of Jones, there is a possibility that the fall of Duke is going to last longer this time.
